Shiv Sena backs SRK on intolerance debate
Senior BJP chief Kailash Vijayvargiya and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) chief Sadhvi Prachi had earlier lashed out at Khan, accusing him of being a “Pakistani” and expressing ‘ anti-national’ ideas. Vijayvargiya is no doubt right when he says India is not an intolerant country. He added while Shah Rukh lived in India, his soul was in Pakistan and also while his (Shah Rukh Khan’s) films made crores here (in India), but he thought of India as intolerant.

Unnikrishnan said Shah Rukh took a stand with no ulterior motives and the BJP should ensure that such things are kept out. His remarks came a day after the 50-year-old actor said there is “extreme intolerance” in the country.
Kamal Haasan said, “What I appreciate most about Shah Rukh Saab ( Kamal Haasan adorably address SRK) is that he has been down to earth since he acquired stardom and even today when he is such a huge Superstar, he maintains the same humbleness that he posed two decades back!” He said that he can follow in the footsteps of people who returned their national awards in the recent past.
Inaugurating a model anganwadi in the state capital, in the presence of ministers Louise Marandi, C.P. Singh and Neera Yadav, Ramdev continued his tirade: “Else, I will think he (SRK) is just paying lip service to his masters (read the UPA) who gave him the (fourth) highest civilian honour”.
Article written by staff at Bollywood Hungama. Adityanath alleged that Shah Rukh and Saeed are speaking the same language of terror and said he did not see any difference in their language.
Though King Khan emphasised that his children should choose a profession of their own liking, saying, “It is not important what I want my children to do”. Union environment minister Prakash Javadekar criticised Vijaywargia’s remarks and observed these could not be taken as the party’s views as he (Vijaywargiya) was not an authorised spokesman of the BJP.
Earlier today BJP MP Yogi Adityanath also compared Shah Rukh to Pakistani terrorist Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of Mumbai carnage. We don’t go asking people, who they are and where they are from.

The journalist in question replied, “I don’t believe it is there and it is a created atmosphere”, to which the “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” actor said, “Then don’t create it further…” Vijayvagriya claimed his tweets yesterday were misconstrued but asserted that had there been intolerance in India, Shah Rukh would not have been the most popular actor after Amitabh Bachchan.
