“I’m kicking you out, man”.

The passenger argues with the driver for about a minute, but the driver says he’s already ended the trip and tells the passenger to get out of the auto, or he’ll call the police.

A Taco Bell executive who was sacked after he attacked his Uber driver apologised for his behaviour and said he is remorseful.

Caban posted a video of the incident to YouTube on Friday. I’ve been with him for only a couple of days and he’s very emotional about it because it’s not who he is.

“Mr. Golden recognizes that despite his level of intoxication, he should have never slapped Mr. Caban and is extremely remorseful for his actions”, his attorneys said.

“He’s like five-nine, and if he weighs 150 pounds I’d be surprised”, Pilchman said.

“Mr. Golden would like to sincerely apologize to Mr. Caban for the events that took place on October 30, 2015”, according to the letter. Golden doesn’t stop attacking the driver until the driver pepper sprays him, after which Golden quickly gets out of the auto.

“You’re too drunk to give me directions”, he says. “He’ll go to counseling to figure out what happened because it’s disturbing to him, but he has no history of aggressive behavior”.

Golden was a marketing manager for Taco Bell, but he is no longer an employee, the Irvine-based company said. He’s claiming that Golden’s attack on him caused damages in excess of $25,000 for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and negligent infliction of emotional distress. On Tuesday, Benjamin Golden, 32, of Newport Beach was charged with four misdemeanor counts including assault and battery.

A meeting might be hard, as Caban reportedly is still so frightened of Golden that he’s been sleeping next to a shotgun. If convicted, he faces a maximum sentence of a year in jail and a $10,000 fine. Golden is set to be arraigned later this month. CBS Los Angeles reported prosecutors are expected to ask that his bail be raised to $20,000.

But the driver, 23-year-old Edward Caban, told CBS2’s Stacey Butler that has his doubts as to whether the apology was genuine.

“It’s not me in the video”, Golden said in the earlier interview, suggesting that the actions seen in the video are not a true reflection of his character.
