Could Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight one more time?

Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum vehemently denied that a Pacquiao-Khan matchup has already been made after The Daily Mail came out with a story on Wednesday saying that the mouth-watering pairing is green and go for April 9.

Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times updated the possible Mayweather-Pacquiao rematch revealing statements from Roach, who is now training Miguel Cotto in preparation for his own big fight in November against Canelo Alvarez.

Roach says should the Congressman score an impressive win on his return next April in Las Vegas, an offer from Mayweather to duke it out for a second time at the MGM Grand is a shoe-in to land on Pacquiao’s table. That’s why we love to see him around and his fans are great.

Never mind that the May “Fight of the Century” between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao was a dud for pay-for-view purchasers, but set PPV and gate records.

According to Arum and the Pacquiao camp, the final fight date would be on April 9th, 2016.

Mayweather made a mistake himself by choosing to fight Andre Berto on Showtime PPV in his last fight in September, and that turned off a lot of fans.
