According to E! Online, the couple announced Butcher’s pregnancy with a public statement, explaining they “are pleased to announce that they are expecting a child in May”.
Eddie Murphy is set to welcome a baby with his Perth-raised partner Paige Butcher.
The Oscar-nominated comedian has five children with his then wife Nicole Murphy – Bria, Myles, Shayne, Zola and Bella, aged now between 13 and 26. 26-year-old Eric’s mother is Paulette McNeely, 25-year-old Christian’s mom is Tamara Hood, while 8-year-old Angel Iris’ mom is former Spice Girls Mel B.
Congratulations to Murphy and Butcher.
In 2013, Butcher opened up to Vanity Fair about her relationship with Murphy, though she tried to keep details as scant as possible.
The source further disclosed that despite having eight children from four women, the actor and his children still come together as a happy family.

I was giving people too much access. Murphy most recently made headlines in September when he was honored with the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, performing his first stand-up routine in 30 years. Up next, he’s slated to star in Lee Daniels’ Richard Pryor biopic.
