As for Lawrence, her character seems to have more in common with Schumer’s Trainwreck alter ego. So she sent off a quick email, one thing led to another, and now they’re writing a movie together. I feel like maybe she just didn’t hear me? The pair will play sisters in the still-untitled project.
We haven’t heard a whole lot about the specifics of the movie other than Miz Schumer’s recent comments at the Hollywood Film Awards.
Schumer and Lawrence’s creative process includes dancing on Billy Joel’s piano at Wrigley Field in front of thousands.
In other words, it’s Trainwreck 2: View From the Top?
Amy Schumer said she and actress Jennifer Lawrence are done with a new draft of their upcoming film’s screenplay, which she calls “dirty, amusing and real”. Ready to review again?
Asked if she’d “tried to convince” Hunger Games costars, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, to be a part of the new project, Lawrence said, “No, no, no, no, no…”
“Amy, in this movie, she has it very together”, Lawrence said. It’s her lifelong dream to be a flight attendant. “She works at the airport”, Lawrence explained. I know, we know.
“I reached out and everything just happened so quickly”, Lawrence continued.
