Kung Fu Panda 3: Po’s journey from a warrior to a teacher

That’s when you meet Kai, a supernatural demon who is defeating one kung fu master after the other in China.

Po, the big, fun-loving, Kung Fu Panda is back and as the new film puts it-“the weight is over”.

Bradford Hornsby is an editor, music writer, web producer, and pop culture blogger for CBS stations in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Clearly clumsiness runs in the panda family as they initially seem to be just as hopeless as Po was when he first started his training. The happy family reunion means that he is able to visit a secret panda paradise where many of his species are still living happily, including Mei Mei (Kate Hudson), who falls for our hero. The new trailer has finally introduced the villain Kai played by Academy Award victor JK Simmons.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni will direct “Kung Fu Panda 3”, while Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger will serve as scriptwriters, Digital Spy reports. Master Shifu together with the Furious Five Warriors, Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Monkey (Jackie Chan), Viper (Lucy Liu), Crane (David Cross) and Mantis (Seth Rogen) also engaged in the battle.

The first two chapters of DreamWorks Animation’s critically-acclaimed Kung Fu Panda franchise opened in 2008 and 2011.

When a supernatural beast named Kai comes to their region, he threatens to put the lives a of a few of the animals Po loves most in danger.

So we’re delighted to see the franchise is continuing with a third movie and that it looks like its set to continue the great mix of the previous films.
