Baby dies in West Bank after inhaling teargas, says Palestinian ministry

Many attackers who have targeted Israeli forces come from Hebron, a stronghold of the Islamist movement Hamas.

On Saturday, Israeli occupation forces shot dead Mahmoud Talal Mahmoud Nazzal, 18, from the town of Qabatiya near Jenin in the nothern West Bank.

“Israel expects that this attempted manipulation of the ICC be rejected, both for the benefit of the court’s reputation and the hope of advancing coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians”, he said.

Amnesty global says Irsheid is one of several cases it has investigated in which Palestinians were deliberately shot dead by Israeli forces when they posed no imminent threat to life.

Tensions in the occupied territories have dramatically escalated in recent weeks. Palestinians say the Tel Aviv regime seeks to change the status quo of al-Aqsa.

On Friday, dozens of protesters outside the shrine condemned restrictions on access imposed by Israel, which has divided it into a mosque and a synagogue.
