Real Madrid and Brazil legend has admitted he would be interested in a coaching position with either of his old teams if the opportunity arose, reports Marca. However, Perez confronted Ronaldo over the statement he had made prior to the match against PSG.

PSG president Nasser El-Khelaifi was interviewed after the match and refused to rule out a move for the three-time Ballon d’Or victor.

Two clubs with ambitions of going all the way in this season’s Champions League will go head to head at the Bernabeu on Tuesday, when 10-times European Cup winners Real Madrid host French champions Paris Saint-Germain. For Madrid, Toni Kroos ran the show and displayed why he should now be considered among the world’s best central-midfielders.

PSG remained with seven points.

Shakhtar Donetsk crushed Malmo 4-0 for their first victory of this campaign.

Moments earlier, Chris Smalling had produced a goal-line clearance to thwart Seydou Doumbia and the two decisive moments contributed to a much-needed win that sent van Gaal’s side to the top of Group B with two games to play. “We should not focus on the table but more on our game”.

The teams were coming off a scoreless draw in France last month, when it was Madrid which played better and was closer to victory. Keylor Navas and Sergio Ramos are expected to come back into the Madrid side after also missing Saturday’s 3-1 win over Las Palmas due to injury. Without the services of Benzema and Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure throughout the match against PSG two weeks ago. His lone chance was a 26th-minute free kick that was easily saved by Trapp.

The confrontation lasted for barely ten seconds, ending with a reproving mock “slap” across the face from Perez, and saw Ronaldo walking away looking shaken by the conversation.

Paris Saint-Germain's Ángel di María will return to Real Madrid for the first time since leaving the club on Tuesday. Reuters
