West Bank auto ramming, Palestinian attacker killed

Medical sources said two of the three Israelis stabbed were in severe condition. No injuries were reported, but minor damage was caused to vehicles. Netanyahu’s inflammatory rhetoric, including his warning on the eve of Israeli elections in March that “masses” of Arabs were coming out to vote, diminished European good will toward the Jewish state and its receptiveness to Israeli complaints, the diplomat said.

According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, since the beginning of last month, 61 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, with over 2,120 injured.

The poll, conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute, found that 53 percent of Jewish Israelis support the extrajudicial killing of Palestinian terrorists amid the recent wave of stabbing attacks carried out by Palestinians against Israelis.

Tension initially started with semi-daily clashes between Palestinian worshippers and Israeli police in mid September in East Jerusalem’s al-Aqsa mosque compound.

Israel has accused Palestinian officials of inciting violence by spreading the allegations, which it says are false.

Allan was welcomed home by friends and family in the West Bank village of Einabus. Ali Dawabsheh, a toddler, was burned to death, while his mother and father later died of their wounds.

The students were protesting against the separation barrier and what they claim is Israeli aggression against Palestinians. “People here are concerned that the attack might happen again”. “When I took over in 2000 I took away the police officer’s guns and left them only with riot gear”, Levy said.

Late last month, about 20,000 Israelis filed a class action lawsuit against Facebook for allegedly ignoring incitement to violence by Palestinian users.

“At many flashpoints for demonstrations, snipers now regularly fire 0.22 bullets at Palestinians, even in circumstances that are not life-threatening and are a far cry from those in which the law permits the use of live fire”, according to the group.

“The numbers that we see are grim and they don’t get any better”, said Neta Patrick, the head of Yesh Din. “Many (Palestinians)… don’t want to go to police and file a complaint because they don’t really believe in its ability to investigate and secure justice for them”.
