Trevor Noah’s appendix nightmare: I thought I was “dying”, “keeling over from”

Catch more of “The Daily Show”, weeknights at 11 p.m. on Comedy Central. Trevor Noah was rushed to the hospital November 4 for an emergency appendectomy, but “The Daily Show” host has a few miraculous recovery powers – and an incredible work ethic – as he’ll be back on the show November 5, even though he’s not able to stand up! Colby Coash. The crew also went to The Mill in the Haymarket, and Lydic did a monologue, of sorts, with barista Alison Schuerman. “Some of you may have heard, I was out yesterday with a touch of emergency appendectomy surgery”. Noah tweeted to The Tonight Show host. “I’m back from the world’s shortest vacation”, he quipped.

“Big thank you to everyone”, Noah continued.

Noah says Comedy Central told him to take as many days off to recover as he wanted, but he says he just needed one.
