Randgold Resources third quarter profit slips despite record production
Barclays Capital’s target gives a potential upside of 31.76% from the company’s last stock close price. By contrast, Randgold’s shares are down less than 1% this year. That missed analysts’ expectations of $0.46 earnings per share, based on FactSet poll of eight analysts. The stock’s 50 day moving average is GBX 4,236.00 and its 200-day moving average is GBX 4,302.17.

Shares of Randgold Resources Limited (NASDAQ:GOLD) ended Tuesday session in red amid volatile trading. Finally, Credit Suisse reaffirmed a “neutral” rating and set a GBX 4,270 ($65.88) price target on shares of Randgold Resources Limited in a research report on Monday, September 14th. Vetr downgraded shares of Randgold Resources from a “buy” rating to a “hold” rating in a research report on Monday, October 5th. They issued a “sell” rating on the stock. The stock now has a consensus rating of “Hold” and an average price target of GBX 4,552.44 ($70.24).
Revenue, however, increased 1.2% to $251 million in the third quarter, compared with the previous quarter, as gold output rose 1.7% to 305,288 troy ounces during the period, moer than offsetting a 6% decline in achieved gold prices.

The Company holds 45% interest in the Kibali gold mine located in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in conjunction with AngloGold Ashanti Limited (AngloGold Ashanti) (45%) and Societe Miniere de Kilo-Moto sarl (SOKIMO) (10%).
