Connecticut state police are working with police in New York to determine whether a bus spotted in Madison overnight was involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Queens on Thursday night.

Police said that officers from the 109th Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting the accident and found the woman “with severe body trauma” lying in the street.
Witnesses reported that the vehicle may have been a charter bus.
The bus left the scene of the crash. A sign on that bus said it was headed to the Foxwoods casino. Police say the bus had the word “Skyliner” written on the side. Skyline is cooperating fully with the NYPD, he said.
“It’s still under investigation, right now”, the manager, who identified himself only as Paul, told Newsday Friday morning.

The identity of the victim has not yet been released. A 69-year-old woman was struck by a Q23 bus on Kessel Street and 71st Avenue in Forest Hills Queens at around 7:40 a.m. Sunday.
