Nick Saban recalls missing armed robbery in Ohio bar while talking football

In other words, expect those rankings to change.

West Virginia (-8.5) vs. Texas Tech: Man, West Virginia has looked crappy the past month. Alabama can’t afford a loss.

Let’s face it, this is the first playoff poll of the year, and there’s still a lot of football to be played. The question is what happens if two-loss Ole Miss (No. 18) ends up being the team that represents the SEC West in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta.

“There’s obviously additional intensity that comes along with both teams being ranked in the top-four of the College Football Playoff Rankings, and Alabama defensive players are clearly motivated and out to prove that they can limit Leonard Fournette”.

“It’s tough, old-time football, and I think people relate to that”, Danielson said of the rivalry that has been the SEC’s premier game since Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow left Florida in 2010.

The biggest game left on the Tigers schedule. You’re playing for all the things you wanted to play for at the beginning of the year.

“And I think the committee recognizes stuff like that, whereas I think the general public is more obsessed with the records of the teams that you’ve beaten”. They should look forward to it. They should relish it.

These games can be close, so keep an eye on special teams.

LSU has a big offensive line and they will be a big part of how this game flows, and If they can open running lanes for Heisman front-runner Leonard Fournette LSU should pull out a win.

-RB Derrick Henry has been the igniter of Alabama’s offense. The Buckeyes also only beat Indiana University (4-4, 0-4 in their last four games) by one touchdown (34-27) on October 3. But what is the one crucial factor in this game that is being overlooked? The Crimson Tide defense will be on a manhunt, with 11 guys and maybe even “Dog the Bounty Hunter” chasing No. 7 in purple and gold.

And nothing kills teams in rankings like late losses. They went out of conference last weekend and destroyed Tennessee Martin 63-28. The loser of each game is out, or, at best, facing a fierce uphill battle.

Both defences are obviously going to be looking to stop the run and make either of those two quarterbacks (who have both shown flashes of brilliance and mediocrity through the first nine weeks of the season) win the game through the air.

One thing we do know for sure: as soon as the top four teams were announced Tuesday, there was outrage from those outside the SEC for the league to have two teams in the playoffs. Much of that is because of the emergence of quarterback Deshaun Watson, who is a Heisman hopeful completing 70 percent of his passes for 1,936 yards, 20 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Four Cougar touchdown drives were less than 40 yards.

No Football Bowl Subdivision quarterback this season has thrown so many passes without getting intercepted, and Harris also is averaging 3.3 yards per carry and has three rushing scores. Regardless, the similarities and differences of two of the nation’s most powerful runners will come into focus when they lead their Top 10 teams onto the same field on Saturday night. If Mississippi wins out, they could very well be in the SEC Championship game due to their win over Alabama. Both defense and offense and why? Oklahoma State has scored 128 points in its last two contests while TCU is averaging 48.9 points per game.

However, defense has been a totally different story. But those same high-scoring teams play against Big 12 opponents, which mainly play in shootouts. They’re poised to do it again in 2016.

“Sharp action has been coming in on Alabama, but it’s mostly just that one bet”, Rood said. The Crimson Tide allow a point for every 16.7 yards while the Tigers give away a point for every 13.8. Oklahoma State began 2015 under the radar. North Carolina is undefeated in conference play, but a loss against the Blue Devils would level the playing field. A win, and the Tar Heels pretty much have their ticket to the ACC title game punched.

Certainly it’s possible that Baylor or TCU could leapfrog Notre Dame with an impressive finish, but it’s going to take just that.
