The design firm behind the Premier Tower Elenberg Fraser, said in a press release that the skyscraper pays homage to “the music video for Beyoncé’s Ghost“.

Construction of the building will involve a process called parametric modeling, through which a computer program can create interesting, hard shapes that still abide by certain restrictions.

But enough of that technical stuff.

“Art and science? You betcha”, reads a project description.

Australian architecture firm Elenberg Fraser has revealed plans for the 68-storey “Premier Tower”.

A cut off of the Grammy winner’s revolutionary 2014 self-titled studio album, the minimalist “Ghost” video shows Beyonce, now 33, in a figure-hugging swath of fabric.

In the Ghost film clip, faceless contortionists twist around while trapped inside stretchy material covering their entire bodies. But once completed, it will sit opposite the Southern Cross station in the business district of the city.

Although there’s no confirmed completion date, the Melbourne skyscraper will house 660 apartments, a 160-room hotel and retail stores.

In addition to her a wax statue and impending statue in her hometown, Beyonce will be immortalized in a 68-story building dubbed Premiere Tower, as Complex notes.

This helped develop the unique form which sees the building swell in and out at various points around the build.

The project has been funded by Singapore real estate tycoon Koh Wee Meng’s Fragrance Group.

Well, if you’re going to pick ANY woman to immortalise in the shape of a building, it’d be Mrs. Carter!
