Mohammad, who was from Santa Clara, California, was a freshman at the university, located south of the state capital Sacramento. The four are expected to survive.

He would ambush and stab the officer, steal a gun and start shooting students, Warnke said. “We had an upset teenager that was upset over being kicked out of a study group” for being disruptive. “We had a teenager who didn’t know how to channel his anger”.
The document was found during Mohammad’s autopsy Thursday. Background checks with help from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Homeland Security showed no connections to organized hate or terror groups, the sheriff said.
Mohammad began his rampage by stabbing a fellow student in a required general education course. Byron Price, 31, a construction worker doing remodeling work next door, ran into the classroom thinking he would break up a fistfight.
Pursuing police later shot him dead. The officer backed up, repeatedly telling Mohammad to get on the ground. Police say Mohammad stabbed four people before he was shot and killed by school officers. They have searched his dorm room and are talking to people who knew him but again, John, according to the roommate, he really didn’t have many friends here. “He was intelligent, too – he performed well academically”.
“(Mohammad) didn’t talk much. His eyes, I could see fear in his eyes. “I just didn’t expect it to be him”. Classes resumed this morning with additional police officers on campus.
