Murray not sweating stats, only winning return to Dallas

The Cowboys, who are still without starting quarterback Tony Romo and have top wide receiver Dez Bryant back, but not at full strength, sit at the bottom of the division with a 2-5 record. If he’s able to make it through the remainder of the year healthy, he may be a strong candidate for topping 100 rushing yards on a weekly basis.

After three limited practices last week Bryant was listed as questionable to play against the Seattle Seahawks. “They’ve had a lot of success in the past years running and they’re the type of team that really likes to run the ball and they’re really good at what they do”, Lee said.

With a stagnant offense, the +3 underdog Cowboys defense has done all it can to keep this team in games.

Fantasy Impact: “It pisses me off, when you feel like you can dominate the guys up front, then you go out there and don’t get it done”, said Lane Johnson, the Eagles’ right tackle.

Of course, Murray’s not exactly paying big dividends for the Eagles, with 88 carries for 307 yards and three touchdowns this season.

DAVID MOORE: DeMarco Murray rushes for more yards than he did in the first encounter – how could he not? – but Eagles still fall short. Unfortunately, I think the Cowboys poor offensive effort will once again waste a solid defensive one. They released the troubled Joseph Randle earlier this week and are going with Darren McFadden. The Eagles have not shown the ability to muster any offense against an “average” National Football League defense this season, failing to crack the 20-point mark on offense against the Cowboys, Jets, Redskins, and Panthers (and that’s not counting the three-point first half against the Falcons).

Mathews had 97 yards rushing on six carries, including a 63-yard TD run in a 27-16 loss at Carolina in Philadelphia’s last game before a bye.

The Giants lead the division at 4-4.

“It felt good”, said Agholor.

“From the last game, I saw at least on the offensive side, a lot of them cried a lot”, Rowe explained.

Cassel, who didn’t arrive in Dallas until a September 22 trade with Buffalo, says he is also feeling more comfortable each week. Whether Murray was hurt or not, it’s pretty hard to get anything going when Cowboys defenders are dry-humping you the second you get the football. We have seen flashes of brilliance recently in what has otherwise been a worryingly slow season…it’s time to put up or shut up.

Notes. Eagles left tackle Jason Peters didn’t practice for a third straight day on Friday due to a back injury.

And when they take on the Cowboys Sunday night, they won’t be donning their “bad luck” white jerseys, according to Dave Spadaro of PhiladelphiaEagles.com. Right guard Matt Tobin moved to left tackle last week after Peters left the game, and Dennis Kelly came off the bench to replace Tobin.
