Nabil Bentaleb issues Tottenham rallying cry ahead of Arsenal clash

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino revelled in his side’s imperious fitness ahead of Sunday’s north London derby against Arsenal after Spurs moved within touching distance of the Europa League knockout stages with victory over Anderlecht last night. Every game in which Kane has scored for Tottenham, they have scored no fewer than three goals.

Arsene Wenger has hailed Petr Cech as the “perfect goalkeeper” as the Arsenal number one closes in on the Premier League clean sheet record.

On the pitch, Arsenal are keeping up the pace at the top of the table while Tottenham remain unbeaten in the league since the opening weekend of the campaign.

Tottenham and Anderlecht both have four points through three games in Group J. Anderlecht’s win over the English side was their first and only win in group play.

“The defeat to Bayern is tough to take but in a way you have to accept the team you played was superior to us in everything they have done”. Only goal difference is keeping Arsenal behind leaders Manchester City heading into the derby and Cech knows the players can not go into that game still thinking about their humbling defeat in Germany.

If Tottenham is going to beat Arsenal, Harry Kane is going to be the catalyst of the team.

“Today I congratulate the players because sometimes when you don’t play well you need to show character and compete and suffer”.

“We are in a strong position in the league, but if we play like we did on Wednesday we are going nowhere”.

But Wenger will hope to have Koscielny back in the starting lineup, and has put his chances up to 80%.

The story of their season has been the rise of midfielder Dele Alli, with the 19-year-old cementing his spot in the center of midfield after a host of exceptional performances since his January move to North London.

Wenger feels it’s no surprises that Arsenal are at the summit of the standings following the Czech’s impressive displays.

“We want to be top of the table but don’t misunderstand me, we need to work a lot, learn a lot and improve a lot”. Le Professeur said: “He has great qualities and he will make a great career”.
