Chelsea boss has appeal for suspended one-match stadium ban rejected

Mourinho – who has come under pressure following a dismal start to Chelsea’s campaign – has already been handed a stadium ban by the FA this week over his behaviour during the defeat to West Ham on October 24.

The Football Association, which made its decision to ban Mourinho on 2 November, said statements by assistant referees and the fourth official at Upton Park also stated the Chelsea manager was asked to leave the dressing room twice, and confirmed the language he used.

When quizzed about where he plans to watch the tie, he said: “You can imagine that it’s not easy”. Mr Mourinho asked me about a tackle, an offside and a goal line clearance. I gave him answers.

The Chelsea boss first refused to leave the referee’s dressing room. He refused. I asked him again.

I asked him again. “Arsene Wenger was right about you – you are f***ing weak”. And I will be with them until the moment somebody stops me, which is I think when I am in the limit of the compound or the stadium.

“I’ll go on the bus with them and wait in Stoke”. But from my point of view I want to be out of it, let the game tomorrow finish and that is it. The way I participate with the game, obviously, is going to be different.

“It’s stupid to fight a fight that you know you have already lost”.

It has taken time, but morale has been boosted by the defeat of Dynamo and the forthcoming fixture list – after Saturday’s tricky Premier League clash at Stoke and the worldwide break – looks favourable as Chelsea bid to build momentum.

When asked whether he would watch the game, Mourinho said: “I have no plans (to watch)”.

Mourinho was sanctioned for implying match officials were biased against the Premier League champions in comments made following the October 3 loss to Southampton.

Mourinho added that on-loan Colombia striker Radamel Falcao will be sidelined for three weeks with a muscle injury.

“Maybe our association (League Managers Association) can question the rights of the managers with a stadium ban, in a legal way”.

Mourinho, though, says the Blues are well-prepared for every eventuality, with the Portuguese having thoroughly briefed his backroom team. “If we put in another performance like that then I am sure we will get more of a mention”.

The outspoken Portuguese had already been handed a one-match stadium suspension meaning he will miss Saturday's Premier League game at Stoke City and a fine of 40,000 pounds for his behaviour at Upton Park
