Current Time Today: Daylight Saving Change 2015 Returns, Fall Back
It’s time to fall back. However, any State can opt out of Daylight Saving Time by passing a State law. That all changed by 2007. Another study conducted by the University of California-Santa Barbara in 2008 suggested that daylight saving time could even increase energy consumption slightly. In the summer, daylight saving time makes the sun set an hour later, reducing electricity uses for lighting and appliances in the evening, as we can stay outside later, and bedtime comes closer to sunset.
Daylight Saving Time was introduced to save resources.
“It’s time for a change”. If you don’t loathe this particular day of the year, I’m not sure we could ever be friends, because it means we probably won’t relate about anything.

“General consensus is that really most of those things that were used as arguments for having daylight saving time in the past are really not applicable nowadays”, he said.
