Magen David Adom said two men, 22, were moderately to seriously wounded.

Amid a pessimistic view expressed by U.S. President Barack Obama over the likelihood of an Israeli-Palestinian peace deal during his term, four more Israelis were injured Friday in three Palestinian terror attacks in Judea and Samaria.

Later Friday, an Israeli was seriously wounded by shots to the head fired from a passing vehicle on the outskirts of Hebron, the military said. Not only is this a mountainous lie; it is an attempt on the part of the Palestinian Authority leadership to deceive the world into believing that Israel’s mighty security forces killed these poor innocent terrorists who were merely part of a peaceful protest against those bad Israeli “occupiers”.

Since October 1, close to 80 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli military, police, and paramilitary settlers; nearly 2,500 have been injured; and according to Addameer, the main prisoners’ support organization in Palestine, 1,195 have been arrested, including 177 children. Hundreds of combat troops guard about 850 Jewish settlers in the center of Hebron where they live amid tens of thousands of Palestinians. The Israeli NGO Yesh Din reports that convictions are obtained in less than two per cent of cases and that over eighty-five per cent of cases are closed before the indictment stage. He said she had been on her way to her sister’s house for lunch when she was killed.

On the Gaza-Israel border, a Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire in a confrontation between stone-throwers and Israeli troops, Gaza health officials said. A hospital spokeswoman described the woman’s condition as serious and said she was being treated in intensive care.

Hebron, occupied West Bank – Mustafa Shahen barks orders as young men shrouded in keffiyehs dart across the road. The Israeli military says he tried to stab a soldier; Palestinian eyewitnesses say he was unarmed. Sadly, that goal will remain a pipe dream as long as the Palestinian public is being fed a steady diet of hatred and incitement to violence against Israelis and Jews. Neighbourhoods in East Jerusalem have been blockaded by Israeli occupation forces; extra police reservists and civil and border police have been deployed; and the homes of alleged attackers have been destroyed. In the current situation, statements calling for end to violence from both sides are hollow since they ignore the fact that Palestinians are being subjected to structural violence and occupation by Israel. Footage of the attack showed a masked youth attack Rabbi Arik Ascherman and threaten him with a knife as he and other Israeli peace activists helped Palestinians harvest their olive trees. Arab governments, meanwhile, are not much better; they prohibit their citizens from travelling to Palestine out of fear of normalizing ties.
