Clinton files paperwork to be on New Hampshire ballot
The forum, sponsored by MSNBC, kicks off a weekend of Democratic events in South Carolina, which hosts the South’s first presidential primary weeks after Iowa and New Hampshire begin the nominating process.

Pundits knocked Sanders in the first Democratic debate for effectively handing Clinton a free pass on what has been perhaps the most damaging issue of her candidacy, her secret use of a private email server to conduct government business.
Clinton’s plan would provide incentives to states that agree to provide “no-loan tuition at four-year public colleges and universities”. In a Winthrop poll released Wednesday, Clinton leads at 71 percent of potential voters to 15 percent for Sanders.
As Hillary Clinton completed a recent fund-raising sweep through Northern California, the Bay Area’s Democratic donors may have been wondering, where’s Bernie? “Let’s just get on with it”. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal published last week, he said that the investigation into Clintons use of a private e-mail server while she was at the State Department is worthy and should continue.
Speaking in the state which will have the first Southern primary, Sanders acknowledged he had a few work to do. He’s trailing Clinton badly in the Palmetto State, largely because he hasn’t caught on with the state’s sizable African-American population. Sanders has a particular recognition problem among conservative/moderate Democrats, only 53% of whom are familiar with him, compared with 80% of liberal Democrats.
Clinton’s rivals for the Democratic nomination have gone further. “Sanders was trying to find someone to primary him”, O’Malley said.
“Well, I’m a Democrat”. I’m a lifelong Democrat. I’m not an independent. I’m not a former Republican. I believe in the party of Franklin Roosevelt, the party of John F. Kennedy.
Ame Johnson, a member of Augusta for Bernie says, “Bernie is a defender and he’s a states men…” “But I also like time alone”.
“On her worst day, Hillary Clinton will be an infinitely better candidate and president than the Republican candidate on his best day”, Sanders said Sunday on ABC. “I feel very strongly that President Obama doesn’t get the credit he deserves for the great job he’s done”, Clinton said to the audience’s applause.
Now, Bernie Sanders is continuing his push to distinguish himself from the Democratic front-runner by suggesting what should be obvious to all: Hillary Clinton is the establishment candidate in the race. “This is the latest in a string of immigration forums that she has refused to attend during this campaign”, O’Malley spokeswoman Gabriela Domenzain said in a statement. With no one else on stage, and equal time among candidates who won the night?
But Maddow didn’t just stick to serious topics. In the effort to keep the candidates from balking at the committee’s attempts to limit the number of sanctioned debates, the committee submitted a rather far-reaching series of demands to the networks that might impose a bit of self-moderating insecurity on future debate arbiters.

In a speech that appeared tailored to Latino residents on the city’s northeast side, Sanders vowed to stop large-scale deportations and close privately owned immigrant detention centers. Other topics he plans to address are how he would serve as commander-in-chief and a domestic policy agenda that will include proposals on family and medical leave, a Medicare-for-all health care system and an expansion of Social Security benefits.
