West Ham are set to be without star signing Dimitri Payet for at least three months, according to the club’s joint-owner Jack Sullivan.

The Hammers’ 1-1 draw with the Toffees came at a high price as they lost both Dimitri Payet and Valencia to injuries.
West Ham confirmed the timeline for the 28-year-old’s return to full fitness, noting Payet had a scan on Sunday and a consultation with a specialist.
West Ham are placed sixth in the Premier League heading into the worldwide break, having drawn 1-1 with Everton at the weekend.
Valencia only just returned to action for West Ham after missing the start of the season through injury.
Payet has scored five goals and bagged three assists in 12 league appearances for Slaven Bilic’s men in 2015-16. “Payet is our main player with the ball and I am not happy with the injury”.

The club are still awaiting an update on Valencia, who was due to link up with the Ecuador squad for their World Cup qualifiers before he was injured against Everton. In his Monday morning column for WHUFC.com, Sullivan Sr. wrote, “I thought a few of the tackling by Everton was strong and I was amazed it took so long for them to get a yellow card”.
