In an interview with Manila Bulletin, Angelina Jolie opened up about her relationship with husband, Brad Pitt, and revealed if she ever feels threatened by other women being attracted to him.

Comparing the film to their 2005 movie “Mr and Mrs Smith”, Jolie said: “The first film we had a lot of fun because of the subject matter”.

The actress-turned director was talking to The Telegraph when she indicated that working with husband on the family drama soon after the wedding made her realize that they will “stick together whatever comes” in life.

“Then we joked that this is what happens after 10 years of marriage”.

“I didn’t really know if I could make film and I didn’t think I could write the film, so I wrote with a certain amount of freedom, I gave myself the task that it would be about grief and how different people react to and process it”, said Jolie in an interview with Wall Street Journal Magazine, who is also the UN Ambassador for Refugees.

Although she confessed that they sometimes fight as a couple, Angelina said the marital problems presented in the film do not reflect their own problems.

“I was nervous about not being able to have the right direction for him, to see him stuck and not being able to push him”.

She continued, “These were very sensitive themes and I know Brad’s triggers and what he can do and what he is thinking about, so I had to step away and just be very careful in how he was directed”. And I look at him now and it’s amusing, when you have children with somebody… Throughout the night, the Hollywood power couple was seen being romantic together and sitting closely to each other. I thought she had an unfulfilled life as an artist.

“But I love directing and I would love to be allowed to do more films and I hope I’m a good enough director to keep getting jobs”.
