“People don’t understand, people think that if a television camera is following you then that’s just easy”.
After the Kardashians have had a few not-so-flattering things said about them by Rebel Wilson and Tim Gunn, Oprah was asked how she felt about them and she seems to have a very different opinion.
“I interviewed the Kardashians two years ago and I can’t believe how hard they work”, Oprah told Australian radio station KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday, November 9.
The legendary talk show host and media mogul previously interviewed the reality TV family for her show Oprah’s Next Chapter, and now she has leaped to their their defence following the Pitch flawless actress’ recent comments about them, insisting the Kardashians have a very healthy work ethic.
You usually hear “They’re famous for nothing”, or “They get paid for being famous”. “I said I’d do it myself”, she began. “How Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard”. I couldn’t believe how hard they work. Using Lohan as an example of someone “uncomfortable” with the responsibility of a docu-series, Winfrey said, “She’s one of those people who said, ‘Oh yes, sure, I’ll have the cameras follow me, ‘ and then when you realize how much work that really is…”

“What I loved so much about the experience of Australia… what I felt most of all is a connection, spirit-to-spirit, with all those Aussies”, she said. “So I disagree that they don’t do work”, she added.
