The tvOS App Store presently only backs two sections, Games and Entertainment, however shopping on the big screen has been a feature that’s been touted by Apple. This remote is the primary way for you to be able to control the Apple TV. Though they both allow you to watch content on your TV, their way of doing so couldn’t be more different.
This is part of my big problem with Apple TV.
You can’t use a second Siri Remote for two-player games, but you can set up an iPhone as a second controller.
According to TechRadar, the options may be more limited in the UK. For the Apple TV and its dedicated interface you get your movies and TV shows via the iTunes Store and third party apps like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, Showtime Anytime, PBS, CNBC, ESPN, and more. Be careful as this is also how you access the Screensaver. In terms of voice recognition, Apple TV performs as well as any iOS device I’ve ever used, and I chat with Siri on a regular basis. However, those five Spider-Man movies are all available on Shomi, but the search didn’t show those. I’d be angry if I bought them on another service.
But even here there are a few problems. The fact that Apple didn’t make a 16GB version of the Apple TV is an indication that it expects quite a bit of data will be stored on the device. This game is great, but I am not sure how well this experience translates to the console experience. In other words, Siri doesn’t understand how people would likely use Apple TV very well.
It was the same concept as the iPhone: Apple would invent the hardware and then open the platform up to creative developers who would hopefully untap its true potential with innovative apps. This could be an excellent thing. If this is a success, and broadcasters and content creators make apps, it could be the stealth à la carte menu of channels and networks that let us pick and choose what we want. For this reason and more, we can’t recommend Apple TV highly enough. You soon get the hang of it, because the touchpad is integral to many Apple TV functions.
Swipe over to any app you want to force quit and swipe up on the touch surface. Then, dig out your phone or a computer. Like the iPhone and iPad before it, the new Apple TV launched with a bunch of ready-made apps, but is still very much a blank slate for future app development.
Despite all the things that Apple boasts Apple TV can understand, the Siri on your television pales in comparison to Siri on your iPhone. The new Apple TV is the ideal example of that.

United Kingdom prices have not been announced for the Apple TV yet, but in the USA the 32 GB model will cost $149USD and the 64 GB version will cost $199USD.
