YouTube star Caleb Logan Bratayley’s death related to heart condition
Doctors confirmed today that Caleb Logan Bratayley died of an undetected heart condition called Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, according to Caleb’s mother Katie.

The internet sensation passed away unexpectedly on October 1 and the cause of death was uncertain until now. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out, your kindness and support continues to help our family”. Meanwhile, the family has been posting videos to their channel regularly, grieving and remembering their “baked potato” in their own way.
The family had earlier suggested hypertrophic cardiomyopathy might be to blame for the boy’s death, in an interview on Good Morning America. “It appears it runs pretty deep”, the insider said.
“Caleb’s death has raised many questions about how and why this could happen to a seemingly healthy boy”, Logan’s loved ones wrote on Instagram.
Medical experts tell TMZ that even if Caleb’s family had been made aware of his condition, there is likely nothing they could have done to prevent his passing.
The Bratayley family, whose page of home videos on YouTube has more than a billion views, previously said that tests revealed that Caleb died from “an undetected medical condition” and “natural causes”.

While it’s good that the family has a few closure about his cause of death (and that his sisters are not affected by the heart condition), our thoughts go out to the Braytayleys.
