The NFL on Tuesday suspended Joseph Randle for four games for violating the league’s Personal Conduct Policy, one week after the running back was released by the Dallas Cowboys.

Randle is currently a free-agent and it is doubtful a team will sign him this year now that his suspension has been implemented.

Randle is now not on a team’s active roster, but the suspension begins immediately.

The National Football League had investigated Randle’s arrest past year in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, though police declined to pursue charges against the running back after a domestic disturbance complaint.

Randle has had trouble with the law in the past few years.

According to the police report, she said Randle broke a auto window in an argument and threatened her with a gun with their son nearby.

Randle was recently released by the Dallas Cowboys.

This continues the downward spiral for the back who started the first six games of the season for the Cowboys.
