Fallout 4’s Vault Boy turns up in Rocket League

Rocket League is a futuristic action-sports game where players pilot rocket-powered vehicles in an enhanced version of soccer by driving their vehicles into the ball and other players in a variety of arenas.

Fallout 4 is definitely one of the biggest game releases of the season, what with the massive anticipation and the never ending series of rumors it got before an official announcement, we would have been surprised if it was not.

Rocket League has always been a fairly wacky game, packed with must-be-seen-to-be-believed moments, but the free match mutators DLC update will ramp things up a notch. In fact, it was less than a week ago that Fallout 4-themed vehicles were added to Forza Motorsport 6. “Rocket League” has had tremendous success this year and it has become so popular with players that they are suggesting that it be named the ‘Game of the Year 2015’. Furthermore, they represent completely different genres than Fallout 4, so they probably aren’t competing with Bethesda’s latest for consumer dollars anyway.

The patch, which is available now, offers a suite of alternative presets and tweaks to the existing game, making it even more over the top.
