The APHC Chairman said the killing of an innocent student in cold blood even on the day the Prime Minister of India was in Kashmir, though nothing new for us as we are witnessing such brutality for the past 3 decades, reiterates the Dictatorial and tyrannical attitude of India in collaboration with its shameless stooges in Jammu Kashmir, towards the people of Kashmir especially the youth, whom they want to eliminate.

In the months leading up to the Bihar election, hard-liners in the BJP and organizations affiliated with the party stoked India’s long-simmering sectarian tensions.

“People went to Modi looking for a Prime Minister but they found a Lalu in him”, the Begusarai MP said, in a first direct attack on Modi by a BJP leader after the party crashed to a humiliating defeat.

“A resounding verdict in Bihar against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cow politics at the expense of India’s traditional tolerance of food habits, put his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) out to pasture on Sunday while setting the agenda for an opposition regrouping against his narrow nationalism”, the Dawn wrote. In recent weeks, as many as four Muslims have been killed across the country on suspicion of either consuming or transporting beef. The BJP has admitted that it failed to read the popularity surge of Grand Alliance, but political analysts believe that statements from PM Modi, party chief Amit Shah and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat made during the polls played a major role in the rout. With a population of 100 million, Bihar is one of India’s largest states and one of the poorest with a 16 percent Muslim population.

On Thursday, Modi will seek to deflect from his loss as he heads to London, where he will meet British Prime Minister David Cameron and the Queen, and is expected to give a sell-out speech at London’s Wembley stadium. Only past year the BJP swept to power in national elections, winning a rare majority of seats in the country’s lower house of parliament.
