With The X Factor making headlines for all the WRONG reasons- such as “dismal” ratings- it looks like the stars of Strictly Come Dancing may be feeling a bit smug.

Simon Cowell’s show pulled in 6.4 million viewers on Saturday, 800,000 more than its 5.6 million audience the previous week – the lowest since its first ever episode in 2004.
Simon previously claimed “X Factor” would trounce “Strictly” in the ratings because of the latter’s poor line-up.
And Craig thinks that Simon fit right in on “Strictly“, quipping: “Simon would fit right in on the dancefloor with those high pants”.
The broadcaster had already sealed a deal for The Voice Kids, a version of the show featuring eight- to 14-year-olds, and if it were to take over the adult series, it could have glut of reality entertainment shows if it were to keep both The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent.
“So my message to my girls is: “Accept yourself.’ It could be that all the work in the world doesn’t get you into life’s ‘Strictly” finals”.
Viewers have complained about new hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack plus new judges Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora.
There have also been moans about the cosiness of the judging panel and lack of novelty acts. Initial overnight ratings had given Strictly a lead of around 700,000. However, the revised figures, published by Barb, are based on the total number of people who watched the programmes in the 28 days after broadcast.

Actually it was a cat named after the Strictly Come Dancing judge and owned by Bonnie Langford’s character Carmel.
