Mumford And Sons Coming To Omaha In April

No, Marcus Mumford and team have abandoned the banjos and the rustic Americana leanings – it’s a little hard to come back from the sort of self-awareness they demonstrated with this epic video – in favor of a more electric sound.

The An Arrow Through the Heartland tour, in support of their newest effort Wilder Mind, will kick off in Houston, Texas in April and wrap up in Sarasota Springs, NY in June.

Ben Lovett wrote in the post how touring the USA fulfills their childhood dreams.

It looks like Mumford & Sons will be returning to the USA soon. “Waking up every morning with a conversation amongst us about who wants to visit “that” bookshop or “the” ultimate music shop or whatever the various cities had to offer”, the band wrote in its tour announcement.

Tickets will range from $40 to $60 and will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.at mumfordandsons.com or at the Xcel box office in St. Paul. Their new year starts with shows in Africa, followed by a trek through South America. In a rare move, the popular string band will take the stage at Zephyr Field in Metairie. singer-songwriter Blake Mills is slated to open the show.
