Spectre Breaks Guinness World Record
In both Spectre and Skyfall, James Bond finds himself face-to-face with an enemy that is fairly new to the series: modernity.

The iconic film collection is just as famous for its cars as the womanising MI6 officer at the centre of each action-packed movie.
A cryptic message from the past sends James Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and eventually Rome, where he meets Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci), the attractive and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. The tracking shot – courtesy of cinematographer Hoyte Van Hoytema – is fluidly shot, leading Bond (Daniel Craig) to an exciting helicopter ride.
What’s impressive is that a lot of these gadgets aren’t just science fiction anymore, and most of the time the gear that Bond uses is actually inspired by real science and devices, even if they’re used in unbelievable ways. Craig, Seydoux and producer Barbara Broccoli accepted the honor in his behalf.
“The scene featuring the world’s largest film stunt explosion is spectacular and will live long in the memory as one of the outstanding moments in the Bond franchise”, Glenday said. “I love my life right now”.
It’s been incredible to work with everyone on this film. I think he’s great.
“Without giving too much away, the difference here for me is, this movie draws together all four of Daniel’s movies into one final story, and he completes a journey”.
Another good aspect of the film is the opening sequence. The source added, “directors know they would be daft to replace him at a stage where he is so popular”.
Skyfall’s Sam Mendes returned to direct Spectre, which follows 007 as he travels the globe attempting to uncover a sinister organization.
$650 million might seem like an insane amount of money – and it is – but nowadays, that’s par for the course when it comes to major franchises like Bond.
So a third instalment for Mendes then?
