It’s being titled, “November to Remember”.

I just have one question – when did the Big 12 become a middle school dance?

The total for Saturday’s TCU vs. Oklahoma State betting matchup is set at 76.5 points at the sportsbooks. Both teams are undefeated, and with the top of the Big 12 so crowded with good teams, neither of these teams can afford to drop a game and still expect to compete for a College Football Playoff berth. The Horned Frogs are 4-0 in those games. West Virginia faced all four contenders in a row in October, and guess what their record was? 0-4.

Oklahoma State improved to 5-0 in conference with a 70-53 win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders.

And now you have K-State, who has reached the end of its rough midseason stretch by facing all four contenders with Baylor. No, this is exactly what the Big 12 wanted. Doctson appeared to have his wrist rolled over late in the first half and did not return against Oklahoma State.

The Oklahoma State community has seen support come from all over, and the Cowboys have seen it from fellow Big 12 teams. “When you play us, it is going to be a tough out regardless of the location and nature of the game”.

The dual-threat QB has a strong complement of TD threats; WR Josh Doctson (1,250 yards, 14 TD in eight games) and RB Aaron Green (699 rushing, nine total TD) have helped TCU pull through in several shootouts. Of course, there are a few who would say they have not faced a legitimate and serious test all season long either, so this Saturday will prove one side or the other correct.

Maybe this works; maybe the conference figured out that backloading your schedule works better instead of a conference championship game since the Big 12 does not have one. In this fatal four-way, however, things could get very messy very quickly.

TCU has won 16 straight games, but Oklahoma State has won 10 straight dating back to last season.

“We’ll have our work cut out for us this week, but we’re at a point where we’re really excited about the game, ” Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said.

Can someone emerge from the rubble and reach the college football playoff?

The OddsShark Computer is projecting a 48.6-31.1 Horned Frogs victory, indicating that a 5.5-point spread is more than attainable for TCU.
