As Crayola puts it – “Adults Love Coloring Too!”

Basford attributes the success of coloring books among adults to three factors: the ability to get into a “flow” and de-stress, the opportunity to nourish a latent “creative spark” without facing the anxiety of a blank canvas, and finally, the nostalgia factor. “Coloring is a classic, creative activity that provides an escape which transforms black and white pages into works of art”.

Brit + Co received over 1400 design submissions from their community and also extended the invitation through 99designs, the world’s largest online graphic design marketplace, to reach even more designers and creators.

Brit + Co. The latest trend in crafting is a throwback to your childhood days.

Dubbed “Pattern Play”, the book will be available exclusively at Target and on Brit + Co starting Tuesday morning.
