The Tigers (8-0) have faced several losable games and – unlike Ohio State, to name one – improved with every performance.
Ohio State, which has an incredibly weak non-conference schedule, was given the same defending national champion free pass to the top four that defending BCS champ Florida State received last season.
Well, I’m here to tell you this team is legit and they have a chance to do things we’ve never experienced or dreamed of at Clemson University.

Northern IL 32, No. 20 Toledo 27 • Freshman quarterback Ryan Graham led visiting Northern IL on two fourth-quarter scoring drives, and the Huskies rallied to beat No. 20 Toledo on Tuesday night. That remains to be unseen, at least until Saturday, but they’ve proven they can win under coach Saban and will likely continue to do so. And the committee blowing off of Florida is most questionable.

The Horned Frogs (8-0) are listed as 4.5-point favourites by the oddsmakers, with the total for this game sitting at 79, which is not surprising, having seen these two sides combined for 110 points in their last respective meetings over the weekend.

Baylor and TCU were hurdled by Ohio State in the final CFP rankings last season because there wasn’t a Big 12 conference championship game. Look for them to get up for this one and give Notre Dame all they can handle. I just know we played a very good schedule in the month of October. Both teams are undefeated. They now rank 5 spots behind the Memphis team that soundly defeated them, but with the love the committee has for the SEC, I don’t believe they would keep Ole Miss behind Memphis in that scenario.
