Matt Bonner claims new iPhone led to elbow injury – Kens5.com
The San Antonio Spurs center told the Concord Monitor that he suffered an elbow injury last winter.

Regardless of whether the theory has any weight to it, Bonner – who ranks 15th in National Basteball Association history with a career 3-point percentage of 41.1 – said he has no doubts he can still shoot.
Apple is yet to comment on this and it’s unlikely that we’ll hear anything from the company on the matter. He also acknowledges the fact that he was in pain when shooting and nearly made him cringe when shooting or even catching the ball. Bonner swears that the iPhone 6 somehow caused his three-point percentage to slide.
As for how Bonner got such an injury in his non-shooting arm, he theorized that his iPhone 6 Plus helped develop his tennis elbow.
As unusual as it may seem, Bonner genuinely seems to believe that his elbow injury was caused by the new iPhone.
But the really exciting news of the piece is that Bonner spent time at Syracuse’s excellent broadcasting school for its Sportscaster U camp, and may be angling for a job in sports broadcasting at the conclusion of his playing career.
Last season, the San Antonio Spurs’ vet connected on 36.5 percent of his 3-pointers (his bread and butter), which just so happened to be his worst mark since 2007-08. Apple is reportedly working on a smaller iPhone 6C, which may launch ahead of the National Basteball Association season; perhaps that handset’s size will be more to Bonner’s liking. By double-tapping the home button, the screen pulls the top half down to the bottom to put it within a thumb’s reach – though the Concord Monitor doesn’t mention whether Bonner was aware of the feature. “I know I can still shoot”.

In another development, free-agent power forward David West agreed to sign with the Spurs for the league’s veteran minimum of $1.4 million on July 6, per MySanAntonio.com’s Mike Monroe.
