The cloudy, wet weather continues into a third day as a cold front approaches tomorrow. Skies will clear during the afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 60s.

“Cooler, drier air will return to the Tri-State this weekend, keeping cloud cover low and highs in the 40s and 50s”.

We catch a break late Wednesday into Thursday morning before another batch of showers works in Thursday afternoon/night.

Tuesday: Showers early, becoming a steady rain later in the day.

Showers will develop Thursday and the wind will pick up. No rain is expected over the weekend and through Monday. Chance of rain 70%. Rainfall near a quarter of an inch.

After a relatively chilly start, temperatures should rebound nicely into the low/mid 70s across the region under a mostly sunny sky.

Our next big weather-maker will arrive Wednesday night, packing more moisture than the one moving through tonight. Low 46F. Winds light and variable. Showers continuing in the afternoon. Friday highs will only reach the middle 60s under sunny skies. Low 37F. Winds WSW at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
