A British Airways flight was forced to land unexpectedly in America after a man allegedly assaulted a woman he was travelling with on the plane. Troopers met the plane, which landed just after noon in Boston, after receiving reports of an unruly male passenger on the plane.
A man from the United Kingdom was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman on board a British Airways flight from London to Houston, and was the reason the flight had to be diverted to Boston’s Logan global Airport, Massachusetts State Police confirm. Additional charges related to the alleged assault are possible.
Waiting: Halliwell, who lives in the village of Aspull, reportedly “became disruptive” and starting assaulting his spouse during Flight 195.
A spokesman for the airline told local media in Boston: “Our customers and crews deserve to enjoy their flights and not to suffer any form of abuse”.
