Well, lost in the shuffle of this insane evening was a Twitter spat between Mavericks Owner Mark Cuban and ESPN “Reporter” Chris Broussard. Then, following a string of emoji and a Clippers sit-in at Jordan’s home, the big man backtracked and made a decision to stay with LA.

Jordan had verbally committed to playing for the Mavericks this off-season, but with nothing in writing, he changed his mind and jumped to the Clippers.

“Maybe someday, someone will introduce me”, Cuban jested about DeAndre Jordan, saying he “didn’t know his name – and you can tell him that”.

Today, The Dallas Morning News provided devil mask cutouts of DeAndre Jordan for fans to use during tonight’s game.

The game tips off at 8 P.M. Eastern time and to watch the live broadcast go here. It’s not about that. It’s about us playing a very good team that got into Dallas today and is resting and waiting on us. And ESPN is making sure to capitalize on the saga, too.

Check out the warm reception he received during the pre-game introductions. “I wish we could, but we can’t”. “It’s going to be a hostile environment, but those games are fun to play in”.
