Week 10 of the 2015 College Football season could not have gone better for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
If you’d asked someone who was going to win the Heisman Trophy heading into week 10, just about everyone would have answered, “Leonard Fournette”. If the Tigers are to make the conference championship game in Atlanta, they must win out and hope that Alabama stumbles somewhere in conference play (perhaps against Mississippi State this weekend?).
The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Prescott, is completing 66.7 percent of his passes and throwing for an average of 261 yards per game.
And to think, just a few days ago Alabama’s ranking was considered controversial.
After Arkansas, LSU plays at Ole Miss (7-3, 4-2) on November 21 in a 2:30 p.m. CBS game announced Monday, and it closes the regular season at home against Texas A&M on November 28. They fell to higher ranked Clemson in a stunning 13-23 final score in the ACC yesterday.

IMPACT PERFORMER: Alabama DL A’Shawn Robinson: While running back Derrick Henry garnered much of the attention after the Tide’s victory over LSU, Robinson also had a great performance. The Crimson Tide dominated LSU behind Henry’s 200-yard, three-touchdown performance. However, Henry is a beast at 6 foot 3 inches tall and 245 pounds.
For the most part, the defense did a decent job against Alabama quarterback Jake Coker.
The Tide can turn at any moment, and if I were to lean in any direction it would likely be to consider the OVER.
Here I am once again talking about special teams. Alabama marched down the field in a matter of two minutes and got a field goal. But if we know anything, it’s that in college football, when you feel safe, that’s when you’re most vulnerable. LSU wasn’t the only team in the top 10 to suffer a huge loss. If that isn’t pouring salt in a deep wound, then I don’t know what is.
