Two knife attacks as unrest returns to Jerusalem
Moments before the incident, Israeli forces detained two Palestinian children following another alleged attack that took place on Jerusalem’s light rail.

The security guard was moderately wounded in the attack Tuesday in the Pisgat Zeev neighborhood.
But Yaalon said, “We don’t now have evidence that directly ties the one who carried out the terror attack but I believe we will get that, I hope that we will solve the case completely”, Yaalon said. The other, identified as 14, was restrained by train passengers until security arrived on the scene.
The attacks marked a return to violence in Jerusalem, which has enjoyed a brief lull amid a two-month wave of unrest engulfing the region.
In the latest incident, a Palestinian drew a knife and tried to attack paramilitary border policemen at a checkpoint in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, police spokesman Luba Samri said.
In addition, Palestinians are frustrated as U.S.-backed peace efforts have stalled and Israel’s 48-year occupation of the West Bank and East Jerusalem shows no sign of ending.
The Israeli officers continue grilling the 13-year-old Palestinian until he starts crying and beating his head in frustration.
“This is not organizational operations, and that is why the attacks are mostly stabbings”. The other Palestinians were killed in clashes between stone throwers and security forces.
Israel promptly accused Abbas – as it has done repeatedly in the past months – of fomenting violence with what it says are incendiary comments.
Ya’alon says the violence started on September 11 with confrontations that Friday morning on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem after young men barricaded themselves in with explosives and rocks.
Leaked video of an interrogation posted by Palestinian media purportedly shows him in tears as an Israeli officer shouts and shakes his fist at him while making him watch CCTV footage of the attack. The video made no mention of the preceding attack.
It is not known who released the video, accessible only to those involved in the investigation and to lawyers.
Attorney Lea Tsemel, who is representing Ahmed, said she may contest the investigation based on the manner of questioning seen in the video.

“You can not terrify, or threaten, or tempt, for the goal of achieving a confession”, she said, according to AP.
