Spectre Sets World Record for Largest Film Explosion Ever

Spectre follows Bond and Madelaine Swan (Lea Seydoux) on a mission to take down the secretive organization “Spectre” that’s been behind countless global terrorist attacks. Bond infiltrates a secret meeting and uncovers the existence of the sinister organisation known as SPECTRE.

Daniel Craig, the man behind Bond for the past four movies, does a very good job of keeping to “his” Bond. Many think that since Bond has finally gotten past him, he will be able to leave the unsafe life behind. My wish is that there are intelligent people in the intelligence service, we all hope that thats the case.

“Spectre”, the 24th James Bond film, produced by Albert R Broccolis EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, is set for release in India on November 20 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The 50-year-old British-born filmmaker said six months after the vow he had a few ideas of where the Bond character could go and the sort of massive scale stunts and sequences he could do.

Yesterday, lead actors Daniel Craig and Seydoux appeared with producer Barbara Broccoli (presumably, Sam Mendes had other stuff to do) to receive the official certificate from the Guinness committee, though the title will be formally held by special effects supervisor Chris Corbould. But the one that always enraged me was the glacier board from Die Another Day.

“The film is, you know, doing incredibly well around the world”.

Spectre is one of the most expensive films ever made, with a budget of nearly $300 million. And, yeah, they were wise to nail it on the first take.

However, the film does have many redeeming qualities, including references to such classic Bond adventures as Goldfinger and The Spy Who Loved Me. If that is the case, producers should consider the recent success “Spectre” has garnered in the box office the next time they meet Craig to negotiate a deal. Bond and Q’s relationship is similar to the most popular guy in school getting the guy who really wants to be popular to do what the popular guy wants him to do.
