Carly Fiorina attempted to slam Donald Trump for meeting Vladimir Putin in a green room prior to their “60 Minutes” appearance Tuesday during the Republican debate, but she told Jimmy Fallon that she met Putin in the same way.

Fiorina’s campaign confirmed that the meeting took place in a green room, but Press Secretary Anna Epstein drew a distinction between one at a conference and a green room at a TV show.
“I got to know him very well because we were both on 60 Minutes, we were stablemates, and we did very well that night”, Trump said during the Republican debate hosted by Fox Business Network and The Wall Street Journal on November 10.
The two did appear on the same 60 Minutes episode, which aired on September 27.
“The secret sauce of America is innovation and entrepreneurship”, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO said at the GOP debate at the Milwaukee Theater. “So Mr. Trump ought to know that we should not speak to people from a position of weakness”, Fiorina said.
“I’ve met him as well”, Fiorina said.
Fiorina also has green-room experience with Putin. They have asked us specifically over, and over again to support them.
As Fiorina sparred with U.S. Sen. “I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on”. The Egyptians, the Saudis, the Kuwaitis, the Bahrain’s, the Emirati, the Kurds, all of these’.

He said he does agree with Trump in that the USA should “negotiate from a position of strength, and we also should negotiate using the full force and the constitutional power given to us”.
