Suffice to say, Elliott never runs out of ideas.

Missy Elliott has shared a video for her new single, WTF (Where They From), featuring Pharrell Williams.

No word on if Missy is releasing an album anytime soon, but whispers indicate she’ll drop a project sometime in 2016. The track itself features the rapper’s signature sound, while the video is everything you want from Missy, featuring a few killer dance moves, insane costumes and yes, even puppetry. 9am we bout to take off to another planetu ready? “We’re live here u go!!!!” she posted with the photo. I didn’t know that all those video concepts were hers. She collaborated with Pharrell Williams on the song.

Elliott, 44, hasn’t released a studio album since 2005’s “The Cookbook”, but following the Super Bowl, streams and downloads of her hits like “Work It” and “Lose Control” enjoyed enormous boosts. Also featured? A cameo by Les Twins, best known as Beyoncé’s seemingly boneless backup dancers, and marionette versions of Pharrell and Missy. Watch what Missy’s cooked up this time in “WTF” above.

It’s hard to believe Missy’s still got the music video game on lock, pushing the medium forward, but here she is almost two decades after she first rose to prominence and she hasn’t missed a beat.

The singer has been out of the music scene for a while, but she seems to be making a successful comeback.
