Vietnam veterans wearing black motorcycle jackets with POW/MIA patches or dress military uniforms embraced one another and shared memories with their comrades in arms.

The Tarrant County Veterans Council’s theme this year was Honoring Vietnam Veterans, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the start of the USA ground war. However, we especially give thanks to the living veterans who served their country honorably during war or peacetime.
The program’s guest speaker, retired Army 1st Lt. Wayne Bell, served 45 years ago as artillery support in the Vietnam War.
Many of these veterans of past wars remain selfless to this day, making sure we continue to watch out for our veterans.
