The Red Cross is reporting that 105 individuals have been injured from the explosions, which security forces suspect were suicide bombings.
Meanwhile, the head of nearby Bahman hospital said at least four dead bodies and a few 40 wounded have arrived at the health facility following the incident.
An Internal Security source told Reuters that at least 20 people had been killed.
Hezbollah’s Al-Manar TV says there were two explosions, about seven minutes apart, in the suburb’s area of Burj al-Barajneh. No-one has claimed responsibility for the bombings yet.
