“Our hearts are broken this morning with the news of the tragic accident that took the lives of two principals and five employees of Pebb Enterprises”, the company said in an online statement.
There was no one inside the four-unit duplex when the small Hawker H25 plane smashed into it Tuesday, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
An Akron, OH man said it was “dumb luck” and maybe a hankering for Hot Pockets that caused him to not be home when a two-engine jet crashed into his apartment building on Tuesday.
He said the debris field was relatively small and confined to an area between one of those buildings and an embankment.
Among those who saw the flames in the immediate aftermath was 38-year-old Jason Bartley, who lived in the apartment house that was struck and was driving home when he learned what happened.
She said it’s scary to think that if she had been driving faster the plane may have clipped her auto.
Joshua Hashman also works nearby, and said he was part of a group that went to help people evacuate.
Authorities have not released the identities of all the victims, but Pebb Enterprises said that the victims were with their company, and Mr. Letwin’s office confirmed that Mr. Weiner was one of the victims.
A new round of TSA regulations implemented in the past few weeks will have even more businesses considering charter flights, Ratliff said. But an apartment building was destroyed and adjacent structures were damaged.
Dinh-Zarr said the plane had been on approach to Fulton and evidence shows it was flying at a low altitude and banking to the left immediately before the crash. All have been identified and family members were already arriving in Akron.
Rabbis at two Boca Raton synagogues told WPTV that victims of the crash were members of their congregations.
“Props to the firefighters”, Morris said, noting that things were exploding as the firefighters doused the flames. He said they were very hands-on with the $20 million project but he’s not sure if they visited the site during their stop Tuesday.
Along with mechanical issues, investigators are looking into what role weather might have played in the crash.

“You just never know when something like this is going to happen to your family”, said Beth Blakely, Smoot’s sister.
