According to reports this morning, Louis actually bought his way back on to the show.

But before you go thinking he’s lost his marbles, it was in a charity auction at the Music Industry Trusts Awards in London this week.

And Louis has confirmed that he will return to the show after all – but not in the way you’d think.

However, Cowell had clearly enjoyed a little too much free champagne and he joked with the audience saying:”Just by luck I get the award I’ve been wanting all my life and I’m completely hammered”.

He added: “I love Louisa [Johnson] and I love Che [Chesterman]”. The prize includes the chance to sit in the judges’ seats for a full dress rehearsal for the live show. “But you know what, I adore Bupsi and you’ve been wonderful in the competition”. He went on to say that he hoped his toddler son Eric would be attend the ceremony with him in 23 years time. He also owns a Creative Agency and works with a number of top brands around the world. It appears he was in a lot of pain and we don’t blame him, it definitely looked very painful!

Theme drama – One other story that has come out following the “Xtra Factor” show this week is the idea that the recent This Is Me theme was not really as it seemed in the slightest.

One Direction fans were shocked to the core when Zayn Malik chose to quit the group in March.
