With the One A9 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, it is safe to assume that the HTC One X9 will also have the latest Android version. While it originally arrived for $399, after the pre-order phase it has bumped up to around $500 – depending where you get it from. The screen comes in 5-inch full high-definition AMOLED display in 1080 x 1920 resolution and covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
A new multi-directional fingerprint scanner seamlessly integrates with the classic uni-body design and unlocks your phone and a world of possibilities, such as Android Pay, with a press of a finger.
If you reside in the United Kingdom and you were eagerly awaiting to get your hands on the HTC One A9, you might be glad to hear that the smartphone is now up of grabs in the country. However, we have to wonder what HTC is keeping hidden about the One A9w variant that would make it significantly different. Yes, it launched the One A9 recently, but apart from that there’s been nothing from the company.
Camera-wise, the One X9 is said to feature a stunning 23-megapixel rear-facing shooter with autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording, as well as a secondary 4-UltraPixel selfie camera on the front.
We’ll keep you posted. The last thing HTC should be providing its customers is a problematic shipment schedule for the One A9 – but that’s exactly what it’s giving, according to emails sent to US consumers who pre-ordered the smartphones. As such, take in what you’ve read with skepticism.
The battery rating is toted to be at 3,500mAh, and following previous HTC models once more, it most likely will be non-removable as well.
The Gold version by Sprint will start shipping in mid-December, while, the T-Mobile and AT&T version will start shipping in late November. With Marshmallow, the MicroSD card can be designated as additional internal storage to support more apps.

Nevertheless, HTC One X9 will be a high-end smartphone, PhoneRadar reports.
