According to TV Line, Jim Parson’s character is set to “sort out his feelings” in order to reach a conclusion about a certain decision he has to make.

Legendary stand-up comedian and sitcom star, Bob Newhart is set to return to The Big Bang Theory for a fourth time! In the Season 6 episode “The Proton Displacement”, Dr. Arthur Jeffries asks Leonard to review his paper, which – of course – ends up offending Sheldon.

For those who do not know or have yet to catch up on episodes of the show, Newhart’s character is a former children’s science show host known to demonstrate scientific principles in simple, everyday objects. Jeffries would later appear to Sheldon in a dream as a robbed Jedi from Star Wars who was able to help Sheldon through a tough time.

Newhart, 86, won his first-ever Emmy Award for his guest spot on the show in 2013. During the night, Sheldon had a dream and Arthur appeared before him wearing a Jedi wardrobe and acted as a guiding strength, encouraging the wary and emotionally unstable character, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. Could Arthur be giving Sheldon a few advice about Amy (Mayim Bialik)?

“Sheldon and Amy try hanging out as friends when they spend Thanksgiving together at the aquarium”.

In another interview with THR back in September, Molaro discussed Sheldon’s relationship with Leonard now that he and Penny are married. “And that’s something that I hope will work out”.

Wheaton will be appearing in the same episode.

The episode will air on December 17, just hours before Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens.

Amy Farrah Fowler and Sheldon Cooper have continued to run in the same social circle despite their breakup.
